Future dreams of success can be tantalizing for a teen. It certainly was for young Carla who mid way through high school set her sights on becoming a lawyer. She was sure her athletic prowess would be the ticket to help achieve that dream. But then life happened.

Her athletic skills did not produce the anticipated scholarship. A subsequent marriage failed in a disastrous manner. Employment bought life threatening events. Roadblocks and impediments reached and tried to prevent Carla from reaching her goals. The obstacles became so severe that the young woman hit rock bottom. How does a person so young and inexperienced with life rise from the ashes?
